APDC is a Prescott, AZ based organization committed to producing versatile dogs of all breeds that specialize in protection training. It was formed to give area local protection dog enthusiasts an arena to further train and compete in as well as to educate the public about what a well-trained protection dog is. Our primary goals are to deliver exceptional obedience and protection training, educate owners on responsible handling practices, and emphasize the significance of these capabilities. Through collaborative efforts, we aim to create a positive, secure and enjoyable setting for both dogs and handlers.

Our ultimate goal is to enhance your dog’s ability to protect you & your family, emphasizing controlled aggression & situational awareness.

Prepare your dog for competitive sporting events with specialized training for NAPD, IGP or PSA. We primarily focus on NAPD (National Association of Protection Dogs). NAPD was originally formed by Sonny Henegar in 1994 and operated until 2002. At that time it was the only American sport of its kind. Armor K9 is revitalizing NAPD in 2024 for protection dog enthusiasts to offer an alternative sport in which to compete.
